We are proud of our Certified Status – The ultimate symbol of professionalism
This is the highest possible endorsement for an advisory practice and is seen as the industry ‘Gold Standard’ for both firms and individuals.
I am a Certified Financial Planner, a Qualified Financial Adviser and a Fellow of the Life Insurance Association by diploma. I joined the Financial Services business in 1985 and have worked at senior management level with a number of leading life companies prior to setting up Optimum Pensions Company (now Lifestyle Financial Planners) in 1997. I’m a strong advocate of continuous professional development and attained my Masters in Finance through University College Dublin in 2015 with a 1st class honours.
I started my career with Bank of Ireland Group Treasury in 1989 before moving to Mayo as a Senior Bank Official where I spent 7 years and attained my Financial Services Degree. I am a QFA and a Chartered Banker. After moving to New York I worked as a paralegal before joining Northwestern Mutual in 2003, where as an Associate Financial Planner, I provided financial planning advice to clients. Having returned to Ireland, I joined the local Ballina Credit Union as their Lending Officer until August 2017 when I got the opportunity to join Lifestyle Financial Planners.
CLIENT SERVICE MANAGER
I am now involved full-time as part of the team since 2008 and ad-hoc in the family business prior to this. My role as Clients Services Manager means that I will be most clients first point of contact for all non-advice related queries.
I oversee the administration of procedures, deal with all internal IT systems, PR and Marketing while also being your main point of contact for all your Health Insurance queries, which we operate through Irish Life Health.
